You're
always trying to have the best entertainment.
Your audience has seen it all, and they need to be amazed and
stunned.
This is something your audience has NEVER seen before.
They'll LOVE IT!!
Every 3 minutes, I make an incredible painting and give it away to your
guests -
All while making them laugh at my funny antics!
Painting after painting, for four hours, THE SHOW NEVER STOPS!
A great show and a great gift of "A Work of Art" for your clients!
After you watch my video, you'll understand why I'm the hottest NEW act
around.
My show can be performed at ALL events.
FACTS:
All paintings are 11"x14". I make only one size, each takes
about 3 minutes to create.
All paintings will be different landscapes (tropical, space, and future
worlds). Sorry, I don't paint Hendrix or portraits.
Finshed paintings are autographed, dried instantly, and carefully wrapped
up.
Paintings are then given to your lucky guests who answer my trivia questions
correctly.
I bring a top of the
line, state of the art special effects show including lights, sound, and
HD overhead camera with projector and screen.
I can perform to your music as well, if you wish.
In my 4 hour show I will create and give away approximately 40 paintings
(valued @ $100 each) to your guests.
Extra pre-made paintings are necessary for a great show fianle. Call for
price.
I make all my own travel arrangements: Air, Hotel, Transportation - this
is to make your job easier. Just one call.
I arrive the night before for the show and leave the morning after the
performance.
Round-trip air in the U.S., 2 nights hotel, van rental 3 days, gas, airport
parking at LAX.
All included for one flat price.
|
1 Hr.
Booking air, hotel, rental car.
1 Hr. Travel to airport. 2 Hr. Early arrival. 5 Hr. Flight with layovers and delays. 1 Hr. Baggage, rent a car. 1 Hr. Travel to event, hotel check in. 1 Hr. To buy spray paint in your city (Can't bring on plane per FAA Reg.). 4 Hr. Set up for show. 2 Hr. Tear down. 10Hr. Going back home. ....................................................................................................................................... GRAND TOTAL: 28 Hours of work before I even perform my show- I DO NOT CHARGE FOR THIS TIME. IT'S INCLUDED! |
Please note - I use NO FIRE in ANY of my performances.
1.
Load In / Out & Parking:
I need assistance with my load in/out if it is very difficult, including
lots of stairs or my performance spot is very far away from the unload
point; I bring 3 heavy large cases of equipment and supplies. I need to
know if it is a difficult load in. To allow for extra set-up time, I need
to have unobstructed access to performance area 3 hours prior to performance.
Please reserve a parking / loading space as close as possible to “my
performance area”. Is there a garage or valet available?
2.
Performance Area:
Performance area is 8 ft. wide (my back to a wall is best for the show)
by 5 ft. deep, and should be at least 5 feet from anything. Audience members
must be able to view from all angles, as I perform “In the half-round.”
No chairs, tables, stage, drop-cloths, or floor protection required nor
performed upon.
3.
Stanchions:
4 stanchions with 4 ropes 6 ft in length MUST be provided. Very important.
During my show, I’m painting like crazy and utilize a laser show,
so for safety, stanchions are a must and cannot be forgotten. Thank You.
4.
Power:
YOU MUST PROVIDE a 110V, 1,000 watt; 10-amp dedicated un-shared single
power line and an extension cord.
THIS IS IMPORTANT. A normal unshared strong outlet should fulfill the
power needs.
Do NOT have me tap into or share power – there will be power outages,
know your power limits.
For safety reasons, as I play in the half-round, your extension cord running
to the performance area MUST BE SECURELY TAPED DOWN prior to my arrival
so your guests don’t trip on your cord
5.
Lighting:
I bring a top of the line, state of the art special effects show including
lights, sound, and HD overhead camera with projector and screen.
Your wild moving colored concert lighting is great for the all around
mood, but my performance area should not be flooded out with your lighting.
Ideally, during the performance, the darker the better.
6.
Meals:
I am very hungry.
I require one “Adult” meal during the intermission of my show
and lots of water and soda. Please make sure the on-site person knows
this… I shouldn’t need to beg for food. If no food can be
provided, add $30.
7.
Outdoor Shows:
A canopy or pop up tent large enough to protect the performance area and
spectators from the elements is required for outdoor shows. I prefer being
under a shade tree or on the shady side of the building. My show cannot
be performed under direct sunlight, as it makes the paint dry too quickly.
Heaters should be keeping your guests comfortable outdoors at night.
8.
Stadium Stage and Larger Venue Shows:
I provide overhead camera and video projector for my show to insure all
guests get a front row seat to see my art. Please inform me at time of
booking if venue provides a projection system I can plug into.
9. Hotel:
If a hotel room is provided, I request it be a double bed and smoking
room. Note room check in name: “ADAM GELD” – NOT “Atom”,
the event name, agent, or anything that will confuse the hotel. “ADAM
GELD” ONLY
10.
Directions:
Please provide non-computer generated directions to your location. I don’t
know how to get there – Yahoo / Mapquest are not efficient and often
wrong. The venue’s website directions are the best directions. Do
not let your performer get lost.
11.
Press:
I am happy to do any interviews with local press. TV, radio, print, promotional
interviews, and junkets are all welcome. Please have them contact me as
soon as possible so scheduling arrangements can be made.
12.
Payment:
A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at time of booking. Please mail
deposit with contract and directions within 5 days of booking to ensure
timely and affordable flight booking. The balance is to be paid upon receipt
of paintings at event. Add $100 if payment is not received upon receipt
of paintings at event.
{checklist}
__ Mail contract, deposit, and best directions to event within 5 Days.
__ 4 stanchions with 4 ropes 6 ft. VERY IMPORTANT.
__ An Adult meal with water and Coca-Cola.
__ One 10 amp single power line un-shared and taped down. Please provide
extension cord.

Atom's
Bio:
|
|
| My name is "Atom
- World's Fastest Painter". I'm both an artist and a showman, and
I paint my amazing moon art in front of live audiences. Using just a
can of spray paint and a knife, I take a blank canvas and turn it into
a stunning piece of art while crowds watch, fascinated. My paintings are dazzling lunar landscapes, space worlds that exist only in science fiction. And what is even more remarkable about my art is that I create my paintings start to finish in about 3 minutes! I first learned how to paint small paintings with spray cans years ago while traveling in Mexico. I found the technique of layering paint and removing it with a knife to be just what I was searching for. I could have instant gratification and realize my artistic vision in minutes. Using this style of painting, I could create infinite varieties of extremely colorful paintings that were exciting and otherworldly. |
|
| I canceled the rest of my trip, stayed in Mexico and apprenticed with the top spray can artist there. When I was ready, I bought a one-way ticket to Tokyo. My plan was to travel the world, creating my paintings on street corners - taking my art directly to the public and putting on a good show at the same time! It was scary at first, not speaking a word of Japanese, and not knowing if my art or I would be accepted in a different culture. I wanted to expose my paintings to the greatest number of people, so I positioned myself in front of the notoriously crowded Tokyo commuter train station. I was hoping to make enough to buy noodles, more paint, and pay for my hostel. The people just loved my art and loved watching me make it. They bought each and every painting. I was an instant hit. Travelling all over the world as a street artist has been an incredible adventure, both good and bad. The bad - shop merchants have chased me away, police have issued me tickets, and I've even been arrested. You can see the articles below about how I took on the L.A.P.D. and won, after they arrested me and violated my civil rights. Now my life is very different. I'm paid to perform my show, and I've performed professionally at many events - most of which you can see above, and I've even been on TV in several countries. The exposure has brought me directly to the art-buying public. The demand and price for my artwork have increased. Thanks to all my friends who supported me: Manami, Bill, Kenny D, Anet, Dino, Linda, Jim, Kevin, Pat, Doug, Jack n' Mark, Ma n' Jack, Brooke, Joey, Carlos, Patty, B, and Armondo. |
